Hair grows roughly a centimetre a month, but a fade does not fail evenly — the blend between guards blurs long before the length becomes obvious. That blur is what makes a fresh cut look tired.
For a skin or bald fade, the sharp window is seven to ten days. Book fortnightly if you want to always look presentable, and weekly if you are on camera or in front of clients.
A mid or low taper is more forgiving. Every three weeks keeps the shape without losing the softness at the neckline.
Beards run on a different clock. A line-up holds for about five days, so many of our clients pair a weekly beard tidy with a fortnightly cut — it takes twenty minutes and costs less than a full service.
Whatever your rhythm, book the next appointment while you are still in the chair. Our slots are paid and confirmed in advance, which means the barber you like is actually available when you need him.
